David P. Bevon, Managing Member
David Bevon has represented individuals and families throughout the Lowcountry since 1996, focusing in the areas of real estate, simple estate planning, business planning and formations, and general legal counseling.
Prior to becoming a founding partner in the Bevon Law Firm in 2006, David practiced at the national litigation firm, Motley Rice, LLC in Charleston.
A native of South Carolina, David was born and raised in Charleston. He completed his undergraduate degree at the The University of the South in Sewanee, TN in 1992. Entering law school, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina Law School in 1996. In 2006, David founded Bevon Law Firm with his wife, Juli. Juli is also the founder of Bevon Title Service, LLC and serves as the firm’s paralegal. David and Juli are joined daily in the office by their dog, Star. They live on James Island and have two boys, Lawton and McCall.

Julia Lawton Bevon, Paralegal
Juli, a native South Carolinian, grew up in Estill, SC. After completing her undergraduate degree at Clemson University in 1993, Juli attended the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta. Upon completion of her paralegal training, Juli held paralegal positions at several notable law firms in Charleston, gaining experience in litigation, estate planning, corporate formations and real estate law.
In 2003, Juli took a short time off to focus on her young children, returning to the legal field in 2006 to join David in founding Bevon Law Firm. In 2006, Juli formed the Bevon Title Service, LLC. As a title abstractor, Juli performs all of Bevon Law Firm’s title searches. Over time, Bevon Title Service has expanded to serve many attorneys locally in Charleston and throughout the state of South Carolina.
You will find Juli in the office acting as the firm’s paralegal. Alongside, you will often find the Bevon’s two boys working on their homework at the conference room table.
